The Ermine was situated on Ermine Road. Rebuilt in the 1960s and closed in February 2004, reopening as The Flookersbrook. By 2012 it was rated as one of the 10 worst pubs in Chester. It closed in 2013 but reopened in 2014. It finally closed on 1 June 2019.
