The Dog & Pheasant was situated at 451 Newmarket Road. This pub closed in 1993.  Initially it was used as a restaurant – it has now been extended and modernised and provides hostel accommodation.

While in Cambridge my friend and I visited The Dog and Pheasant every night. We were 18! The owners name was Peter. There was a backroom we would go into after hours.
