The Rising Sun was situated on Tring Road. This pub closed in 1993 and was known as The Four Seasons at the time. Now used as an Indian restaurant.

Name Dates Comments Ian McAndrew 1960-1961 The publican was a man called Houghton. His daughter Gillian worked in the Sick Bay as a clerk at RAF Halton and I used to go out with her during my time as a National Serviceman stationed there. Nigel Tostevin 1981-1988 Customer and darts player.
