The Rose was situated at 30 Market Place. This pub is now used as a Cafe Rouge restaurant.

The Cafe Rouge restaurant which replaced this pub closed prior to the pandemic. It was refurbished and reopened as the The Rose Inn, an upmarket pub and restaurant in late 2021
