Lord Lyon, Stockcross

The Lord Lyon was situated on Ermin Street. This pub was present by 1841 when it was called The Nags Head. It was renamed The Lord Lyon in 1957 to commemorate Sir Richard Sutton's horse of the same name winning the 1866 Derby. It has closed despite being voted Best Community Pub Of The Year 2011 by West Berkshire CAMRA.

This pub has now been converted into eight flats, some of which are used for airbnb rental.
