The Heaton Arms was situated at 249 Rye Lane. This pub was previously known as The Duchess Of Peckham. It has now been demolished and replaced by flats.
In the 1960 novel The Ballad of Peckham Rye by Muriel Spark it is visited by Humphrey Page as part of his pub crawl in the opening chapter
