The Oakdale Arms was situated at 283 Hermitage Road. This pub closed on 19/03/2011 and was subsequently demolished. It featured a reptile enclosure by the door.

Ray	1968/1983	Customer from 1968 to 1983. A football team was started in the pub in the late 60's. The team was called 'Oakdale' and we played Saturday afternoon in the South West Essex League. Very fond memory's of that pub, so sad to hear its been demolished.
