The Empire was situated on Fosse Road North. This pub closed in 2006 and was subsequently demolished to make way for a Lidl supermarket.

Clare Irving	1994-1998	I worked here as part of the bar staff, whilst studying. I had lots of good laughs and memories and worked for a guy called Andy. I'm very sad to see that it's been demolished. It was a fab place when I worked there
