stock, dated September 20th 1967, in this
steel making company. Vignette at top of certifcate, ornate brown
border. Printed signatures of the Company Secretary and President.
This U.S.
corporation was incorporated 1904 in Bethlehem, Pa.; railroaders and
investors founded its predecessor, Saucona Iron Company, to make
wrought-iron rails for railroads in 1857; four years later it was
renamed Bethlehem Iron Company. It's facilities were acquired in 1899 by
Bethlehem Steel Company.
Certificate size is 20.5 cm
high x 30 cm wide (8" x 12"). It will be mounted in a mahogany frame,
with gold inlay, size 31 cm high x 39 cm wide.
