  1942 certificate for this German porcelain and high quality furniture manufacturing company. The certificate is beautifully designed in abstract patterns in brown, grey and yellow with a white imprinted company seal. Uncirculated.

Certificate size is 21 cm high x 30 cm wide (9" x 12"). It will be mounted in a mahogany frame, with gold inlay, size 31 cm high x 39 cm wide.

The certificate is shown unframed as all items are mounted to order.

Company History

1879: German-born Philip Rosenthal establishes his own workshop for the decoration of white porcelain in Selb, the heart of a German area known for the production of porcelain.
1887: The company flourishes and operates under a protected trademark.
1891: Philip Rosenthal builds his own porcelain factory.
1929: 7,000 Rosenthal employees.
In the 1950s: Philip Rosenthal Jr. assumed the helm of the company. He recognized the relationship between art and industry and began an evaluation of the company's products.
