About This Company
When the George V first opened in May
1928, under the auspices of its wealthy American owner Joel Hillman, the
nine-story art deco hotel, designed by the French architects Lefranc and
Wybo, took the city by storm. The hotel's art-deco exterior has been
beautifully preserved. Though it no longer offers flights on a private plane
to London, Berlin and Madrid, the hotel has recently undergone a 125 million
dollar overhaul aimed at retaining the original period charm while
supporting a 21st-century infrastructure. |
